
Friend, fellow blogger, writer, and reviewer, Tony Riches, told me about Wurdle, a site that allows you create a text based picture. He made the one above from common words used from my blog. Text clouds are an inventive way of combining visual and literal elements. A little something for everyone!
Mohana has a PhD from the University of Florida with a focus on gender and postcolonial theory. She is the creator and co-editor of five books in the Qatar Narratives series, as well as the Qatari Voices anthology which features essays by Qataris on modern life in Doha (Bloomsbury Qatar Foundation Publishing, 2010). I love Wordle.com, use it all over my social media sites, for headers, cover images etc. It was, in fact, my 9 year old daughter who introduced me to it, she had been using it at school for a project.
That is way cool. It makes me wonder what mine would look like.
