Dreesha: LAMAHAT MEN QATAR (Glimpses of Qatar)

The first photo-essay book to be produced by residents and citizens of Qatar DREESHA: LAMAHAT MEN QATAR was released on Friday, February 19, 2010 at Virgin Megastore in Villaggio mall. The book is the third title in the Qatar Narratives series, sponsored by the Waqif Art Center, HSBC, and the Ministry of Culture in Qatar.

The sixteen contributors included quite a range of ages including eager amateurs who produced work parallel with more seasoned contributors. One would be hard pressed to identify the differences between a thirteen year old participant, amateur student enthusiasts, and those produced by the professional photographers.
